Accessibility

Last reviewed 19 September 2026.

We want every tasting room on the Central Coast to be findable by everyone, including people using screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification or voice control.

What we are doing

We are working towards the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. That work is ongoing rather than finished. We review new pages against it as we build them, and we are working back through the older ones.

The map

The interactive map is the hardest part of this site to make fully accessible. Everything on the map is also available as text in the directory, which lists every tasting room by region and district with its address, hours, fees and amenities, and on each winery’s own page. If the map does not work for you, the directory holds the same information.

If something is not working

Email hello@winetastershandbook.com and tell us what you were trying to do and what got in the way. We read every one of these, and we will either fix it or give you the information you were after directly. We aim to reply within three business days.

Reporting a barrier is not a complaint we mind receiving. It is the fastest way we find out what to fix.
